repented. There was to be left alive such a bastard. It had been played in a good number of times to forgive him now. Then he changed his mind. Did not return. At no time had, so I had to fear reprisals. Or the "Brotherhood", or the allies or associates of the "filthy" (which was, and not a few, considering the success of their exchanges.)
not cost much to find the old highway while away these thoughts from his mind. I had only been in the city once and did not keep a good memory. In the wake of what he specialized in the surrounding towns (in ruins dominate the ancient buildings and worse) than those who, not without difficulty, could start valuables in the rubble.
Once she moved to find a viaduct in good condition and there, sheltered from the wind, displayed a map that had recovered from the station. The terrain was flat to its target and was just punctuated by small towns that were growing (Sizeand number) as it approached the capital of the region.
left the lonely highway and walked down a rural road adjacent to it. Bordering old orange groves and a ruined peasant hut.
At dusk saw what looked like an old manor house partially burned and well away from the road. Stopped. Had to find a place to spend the night and the idea of passing the open not particularly attracted. He looked to the sky, mentally calculated the time it remained sunny (no more than three hours with full light) and decided to take a look. He went
carefully to the house until he lost eye. Recent rains had completed the work that the fire left half so that the upper floors seemed completely inaccessible. In contrast, the floor looked better and retained much of its walls standing.
When I was a few hundred meters or so we bet the bushes.
waited and watched. Nothing
, the wind whipping the branches of the bushes. A window rhythmically hitting the frame. Eolo to howl through the holes, nooks and crannies of the mansion. Nothing
final.
He licked his forefinger and raised it. Reversed its position to stand against the wind and sniffed. Nothing. Neither the characteristic scent of wood smoke and wet as usual hurried off fires. Nor does the peculiar stench given off by krusties (recognizable meters).
Nothing. Or anyone. Apparently it was the only one around.
He approached the entrance and pushed the door slightly. Relented on its hinges and he saw a hall destroyed. Three
more. A blackened before him. Two to each side.
He drew the gun in silence while holding the rod by hand iquierda.
He used to push the door was left ajar on the right. Partially collapsed and a wardrobe full of debris. To his left
what seemed an office wide open.
After ruling people "surprise" in these two rooms moved to the back door. He hung the rod on his back and grabbed the knob with one hand while the other, sweating, clutching the gun.
The burst open and watched. A huge hall completely burned. Something like a charred corpse before him. Blackened furniture. The chimney, beside a large-scale timber, unused by the debris of higher plants. The wind slipping through cracks and crevices. Several doors closed and also affected by the fire.
Nothing of value had not been sacked earlier.
checked the other rooms of the plant demolished a living room, a toilet with traces of dirt and a hole in the wall through which you could see the surrounding area and a kitchen full of dust and decay that had been much less affected by the fire that the living room. There was a small door in one corner. ConducĂaa an empty pantry.
back into the room tried to access the first floor. Set foot on a step, crackle, then another, more.
hesitated for a moment. Despite having recorded ruins in worse shape than it was something in that wooden crisp persuaded him to do so. He took the lantern of the bag with a couple of batteries. The ignited and focused to the top floor. The dim yellow light showing tore the floor rests on the first floor interspersed with various furniture and detritus.
seemed determined to resign when he thought he saw something in a corner cleared the landing.

hesitated again. Could spend the night with some quiet up there?
thought that it was not worth the risk. If he decided to venture there above others could do it. And more so if they meant desperate.
therefore barred as best he could the main gate and the entrances to accommodate Salony tried to sleep on it.
